My dodge is at ~75% and my Block is at ~20%. I happened to find a shield that gives me +8% attack speed (Lidless Wall), plus it gives me +83 all resistances, +350 Dex, +1500 armor and a ~20% chance to block.

It's all about your preference and playstyle. There are some great Monk fist weapons that you can either dual-weild or use with a shield. Does this seem accurate? Am I missing anything in particular? I don't think I had the passive skill that increases dodge by 35%, so that would also help.Personally, I like to wield a 1H + Shield. I hopped into a level 100 GR and I just get one shot left and right - how does the survivability work on this guy? I think from the setup that the majority of damage reduction comes from Cyclone Strike combined with the shoulders, Unity ring, and the Legacy of Dreams gem. I have a pretty decent set of gear with maybe half of my pieces being ancient - adding more ancient pieces for sure would help, but this was quickly put together just to test briefly. With WoL being flavor of the month this season I definitely want to give it a whirl, so with the season ending now, I put together the full setup (minus the coming damage buffs from the patch and the ethereal obviously). With that being said, I have almost zero experience with the Monk class, so it's more than possible I'm doing something wrong. I'm not typically a Monk player, they are probably my least favorite class after Crusader.
